In this position, one would work as a volunteer translator in the Chinese-English / Spanish-English Language Teams for TFE.
Primary Responsibilities
- Translation: using Crowdin to finish the translation tasks online in time.
- Group cooperation: having weekly meetings with group members to discuss and share the working schedules, project details, and working feedback.
- Data management: updating the glossary and TMs in Crowdin.
Qualifications
- Language pair: Chinese-English / Spanish-English
- Having experience in translation and online TMS.
- Willing to attend discussions and exchange opinions with your group member.
- Finish the work on time.

Editor
In this position, one would work as a volunteer editor for Chinese translation in the Chinese-English Language Teams for TFE.

- Data management: help the translators to update the glossary and TM in Crowdin.

- Language pair: Chinese-English, Chinese as the native language would be better.
- Having experience in using online TMS.
- Willing to attend discussions and exchange ideas about your editing with translators and other group members.
- Finish the work on time.

Proofreader
In this position, one would work as a proofreader for the Chinese translation provided by the Chinese-English Language Team of TFE.
Primary Responsibilities
- Proofreading: Using Crowdin to review the text and flag errors, checking and proofreading spelling, punctuation, grammar, and consistency of structure and format without changing the original meaning.
- Group cooperation: having weekly meetings with group members to discuss and share the working schedules, project details, and working feedback.
Qualifications
- Language: Chinese-English, Chinese as the native language.
- Having experience in using online TMS.
- Willing to attend discussions and exchange ideas about your editing with translators and other group members.
- Finish the work on time.

In this position, one would work as an interpreter for our guest speaker and our client in the Chinese-English Language Team of TFE
Primary Responsibilities
- Providing interpreting service for our audience when we invite guest speakers.
- Interpreting for our clients in case they need extra help.
